Blankso

The team is now in Blansko, back in the Czech Republic. This town is about 50 km east of WOC and is famous for its limestone caves and cast iron-work. It's quite hilly and a really beautiful area.
Yesterday we rode from the town to training. About 6 km with a 250 m climb. The area we rode in was very good, except recent storms had blown down so many trees it was very hard to keep riding. Except for the main tracks, every 100 metres or so the track was blocked by fallen trees. On the plus side there were loads of lovely, ripe raspberries everywhere. Today the team is out training on another map, whilst Alex and I have a rest day. Sitting in the town square, connected to community wi fi and blogging. Perhaps it's time for a coffee and hot chocolate....
