Switzerland that was
Tuesday, 31 July 2007
Ian and I had two more great rides in Switzerland before I departed for Poland. Day 2 was a bit easier than our first ride at 35km and only 1300m vertical climb. Ian allowed us to stop at a cafe for lunch this time.
Day 3 was huge and a touch stressful as I had to make a 7.30pm train from Zurich which was over 2hrs drive from Nufenen Pass where the ride started and finished. It was 38km of tough alpine terraine. We started at 2500m and dropped down to 1700m - a little village in Italz as it happens - and hiked the bikes back up to Griss Pass.
So that was it for 3 awesome days in Switzerland with Ian. Cheers Wee Eee - and thanks Camille. Thor
