Home again?!
Sunday, 15 July 2007
One of the wonderful things about travelling is meeting people who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Not only do we have the most gracious of hosts in Warsaw and Prague, we get to train, eat and not do very much else at all.
Today was another good example. Riding with some new Polish friends in the forest used for the European Champs last year. It's a superb area with lots of tracks, as usual, and on first inspection, doesn't look difficult. Until you take a wrong turn and then the flatness of the area can make it really hard to relocate.

Training was followed by some local food at a road-side diner. A quite delicious potato pancake with goulash and of course the mandatory beer. Before returning to our new 'home' in an area of apartments to the south of the city.

Tomorrow we collect Kay and Dave S and head to our accommodation for the Polish 7 day which should be great fun. Then we're looking forward to being joined by Dave Wood and a little later, Thor and Tony. It will be great to have the team together.
