Today in Chicago I found my way to a spin class at the local Bally Fitness Centre. I was very pale amongst the 17, mostly very large, black African-Americans. They were very interactive singing the harmonies to the music, counting with the instructor and shouting out words of encouragement. The whole group moved as one in time to the music. It was really great and almost made a spin class enjoyable.
