NSW Time Trial Champs

The NSW individual time trial championships was held on Sunday at Calga north of Sydney.  Conditions were cold and a slight headwind over a relatively hilly 21.5 km course.

Paul started strongly and a competitor's support crew timed Paul with a 7 second advantage at the 8 km mark over the hillier part of the course. Eventual winner Phil McNight rode a little stronger over the last part of the course, which was more downhill and flat, to pick up about 20 seconds and score the win in 31.58.  Paul finished in 32.16 at an average speed of about 41 kmh.
