Long Distance Qualification

The long distance qualification race today threw the team a few challenges and mixed results were the order of the day.  Adrian and Alex comfortably qualified, finishing 1st and 3rd in their respective heats, whilst Paul and Dave narrowly missed the cut, finishing 22nd and 23rd.  Paul and Dave struggled with the change of style compared to yesterday, and made one too many small mistakes in a race where all errors were punished.

The women all successfully got round their courses without mispunching or any mishaps to make it through to the final.

Tomorrow is a rest day and all in the team will be doing a very easy ride and then resting the mind and legs for their next race.  Below is some pictures from today and some additional ones from the middle distance final.
